Police ask Lancaster Castle graffiti culprit to come forward after receiving pictures of them spray painting

Police have received a number of images via social media showing a person spray painting on the wall of Lancaster Castle.

They are now appealing for anyone involved to come and talk to them quoting crime reference number 04/128952/22.

Graffiti was scrawled on the walls of Lancaster Castle sometime between 7pm and 9pm on Monday evening.

Graffiti at Lancaster Castle which has now been washed off.

Police are treating it as a heritage crime and it will be investigated accordingly.
