A man was trapped under his car after it flipped on its side on a country road.
Police, the fire service and North West Ambulance Service attended the scene on Marsh Lane in Cockerham at 5.50am on Friday.
They arrived to find two people trapped in a Ford Ka which was on its side near Sand Villa Farm.
Police said a woman was trapped in the front passenger side of the vehicle.
By 6.20am the woman, who had minor injuries, was freed from the car.
The 20-year-old man, who had a head injury, was released by firefighters at 6.58am.
The pair were taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment but did not have life threatening injuries, said North West Ambulance Service.
The road which had been closed after the crash happened, was reopened to traffic at 7.35am.
