Juan Garcia-Hernandez, of Lancaster Road, Morecambe, has pleaded guilty to the attempted murder and false imprisonment of Alison Garcia-Hernandez, following a hearing before Preston Crown Court.

It follows a domestic incident dating back to September 18, 2019, in which it is alleged the 64-year-old defendant tied the victim to a chair for hours, and then wounded her with a knife as police officers eventually entered the property.
