Man injured in crash on Kellet Lane

A man was injured in a two-car smash on Kellet Lane on Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called by the ambulance service to assist at the scene after a Vauxhall Vectra and a Peugeot 106 crashed.

The crash happened at the Four Lane Ends crossroads between Lancaster and Nether Kellet.

A witness at the scene said one of the cars had rolled over.

One of the driver’s was treated for a head injury, which was not thought to be serious and he was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.

The vehicles were later recovered and there was no road block.
