Man and woman charged over pub incident

A MAN and a woman have been charged in connection with an incident outside a Galgate pub which left a man with serious head injuries.

At around 2.30am on Saturday July 2, police were called to the New Inn pub on the A6.

A 29-year-old local man was found lying in the street with what were described as “serious” head injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

Jason Moon, 29, of Main Road, Galgate, was charged with wounding with intent following the incident.
