CCTV appeal after threats in Lancaster takeaway

Two young men were subjected to homophobic abuse in a Lancaster takeaway, police said.

The incident occurred in Flames takeaway when one man with two other men, approached the two victims and subjected them to abuse before threatening to ‘do them in’ and ‘break their jaw’.

CCTV of the incident shows the suspect with two other men, whom Police would also like to speak to.

The man is described as white, late 40s to mid 50s, stocky build, 5’6” to 5’10” in height wearing a green tweed coat, blue tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

PC Carl Wood, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, said: “We would appeal to the public in order to provide any information in regards to this incident leading to the identification of the suspects.

“Whilst efforts have been undergoing for some time we have, as yet, been unable to identify the persons responsible.”

The incident happened between 2.30am and 2.50am on March 29.
