Appeal after burglaries at Lancaster businesses helping key workers to stay on the road

A number of Lancaster businesses staying open only to support key workers and emergency services to stay on the road have been targeted by burglars and thieves.

Police said that the businesses are now unable to open after a series of burglaries and vehicle thefts over Easter bank holiday weekend.

Police are appealing for information or any CCTV in relation to the incidents that occurred around 11.30pm on April 11 and 3am on April 13 at the Lune Industrial and Marsh estate in Lancaster.
