Appeal after burglaries at Lancaster businesses helping key workers to stay on the road

A number of Lancaster businesses staying open only to support key workers and emergency services to stay on the road have been targeted by burglars and thieves.

Police said that the businesses are now unable to open after a series of burglaries and vehicle thefts over Easter bank holiday weekend.

Police are appealing for information or any CCTV in relation to the incidents that occurred around 11.30pm on April 11 and 3am on April 13 at the Lune Industrial and Marsh estate in Lancaster.

If you have been offered any of the following items for sale then please do the right thing and get in touch with police: Oxford welder, Lincoln Beater welder, new snap on Mig welder, Milewaki wheel nut guns 1/2 inch, Milewaki cordless grinder, Milewaki 3/8 wheel nut guns, snap on Solus edge diagnostic machine, Makita radio, power drills and grinders.
