Concern for Morecambe man missing from home

A man has gone missing from his home in Morecambe.

Anthony Higson, 54, also known as Ant, was last seen at Morecambe Train Station after waving a relative off at 2pm on Friday, September 18 and has not been in contact with his family since.

He had been due to attend a family wedding on the Saturday September 19 but failed to attend.

His disappearance is described as very out of character.

PC Adele Laffan from Morecambe Police said: “We are getting increasingly concerned for Mr Higson’s welfare, particularly considering that it was his daughter’s wedding that he was to attend.

“His disappearance has come out of the blue and so I ask anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.”

Mr Higson is described as white, 6ft, slim build with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a leather jacket, jeans and a t-shirt as well as carrying a blue and green Adidas holdall.
