Concern grows for missing man

A man who has gone missing from home could have been in Lancaster the day after he left.

Stephen Knight, 40, was last seen at around 4.15am on Friday July 24 after completing a night shift at work.

He is then believed to have returned home to his address on Daybrook, Upholland but has not been seen or made contact with friends or family members since.

He is described as white, 6ft 3in tall, stocky build with mousey receding hair and a moustache.

He may be wearing a pair of jeans, black shirt and black jacket and is believed to have his two dogs with him, a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd.

Officers believe he could have been in Lancaster the day after he went missing and he could have also visited the Lake District.

Insp Paul McLernon of Lancashire Police said: “We are getting increasingly concerned about Stephen as he has not been seen for quite some time now. I would urge anyone who has seen him or has any information about where he might be to contact us as soon as possible.”
