By popular demand, the Lancaster Guardian has teamed up with Old Holly Farm for our fantastic Christmas competition, Paint Santa.
Open to children aged four, this competition is a great way for children to paint or draw Santa in time for Christmas.
Prizes include a Christmas hamper courtesy of sponsors Old Holly Farm from Cabus, Garstang.
We’re also giving away a meal for four people (excluding drinks) courtesy of the Bellflower, Garstang, plus a Christmas goodie bag courtesy of the Lancaster Guardian.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is paint or draw your Santa in the most colourful and creative way on an A4 piece of paper.
The picture needs to be A4 portrait (upright). Please include your name, age, address and contact telephone number on the back of your entry.
Entries should be sent to Paint Santa – Lancaster Guardian Newspapers, c/o LEP, Promotions Department, Olivers Place, Fulwood. Preston PR2 9ZA.
Closing date for entries is Monday December 2 and look out for your picture in our Paint Santa supplement on Thursday December 12.
Readers will be asked to vote for their favourite entries and then our judging panel will choose the overall winner.
A word from our sponsor:
For the fifth year running, Old Holly Farm is proud to be sponsoring the Lancaster Guardian’s Christmas competition, and this year we want you to Paint Santa. We always look forward to seeing all your fantastic designs, and we can’t wait to present the winner with their prize.
We’re sure there’s lists being made across the bay, with toys and treats ready for Santa to deliver on Christmas Eve. So get creative and paint your very own Santa and if you’re stuck for ideas then why not visit the farm, where you could use one of your favourite animals for inspiration.
Christmas is always a busy time for the farm, and on December 1 we’ll be welcoming back the reindeer, this year with a baby in tow. Plus Santa will be here in his grotto throughout December.
We will also be taking orders for Tomlinson’s Turkeys in our Farm Shop from November. The turkeys are reared just 10 miles away so are fresh and local.
We’ve also got the indoor playbarn, café, farm shop, animals and kids’ parties so it’s a great time to visit and we’re open 9am-5pm everyday until Christmas Eve.
