Comedian Eddie Izzard to join Labour campaign in Lancaster

After meeting local Labour activists, Eddie will be touring the city centre to support Labour’s plans and speak to voters, and then addressing supporters in Market Square at noon.

Cat Smith said: “It’s excellent that Eddie is able to join us in Lancaster to talk to voters about Labour’s plan for a fairer future.

“He’ll be meeting as many people as possible to discuss how we need a Labour government to deliver an NHS with time to care and tackle the cost of living crisis, so I’d invite anyone interested to join us in Market Square at noon.”

After visiting Lancaster, Eddie will then join Morecambe & Lunesdale candidate Amina Lone and her team in Morecambe.
