City woman sent to prison

Anne Marie Donaghey of Easington, Lancaster, was sentenced on five counts of not notifying of a change in circumstances and one count of producing a false statement.

Donaghey, 44, had received £82,000 in income support, housing benefit and Council Tax benefit over eight years after claiming as a sole parent, but her partner was living with her during that time.
