Five team members attended and trailed paw prints in the mud. The cat was in a disused outflow pipe in a tunnel under the quayside from where it refused to come out.

The animal was uninjured and as there were other paw prints suggesting cats frequented the area, it was left to return home. The crew stood down at 7.45pm on October 19.
