Two fire engines from Lancaster attended the scene in Hornby Road, Claughton, shortly before 10.50am.

Crews feed one casualty from their vehicle using hand tools and a pedal cutter.

They were then handed over to the care of paramedics at the scene.

Firefighters were in attendance for approximately half an hour.
