The case of an elderly couple who were thought to have retired to Morecambe but were found buried in their garden in Mansfield was featured on television.

William and Patricia Wycherley went missing in 1998, but were found buried under their own lawn 15 years later.

The couple’s daughter Susan Edwards and son-in-law Christopher, murdered them and stole a total of £285,286 from the dead couple.

They were sentenced to life with a minimum term of 25 years.

The case was featured in ‘A Town &Country Murder’ on Crime and Investigation channel on Sunday night.
