Buy a new home and get a bag for life
In support of the initiative, Miller Homes has designed a bag for life which it will be giving away to the first 100 people to register on its website using the following special link (https://www.millerhomes.co.uk/register?c=bagforlife)*.
Bags will also be distributed via its sales centres when customers reserve their new home (for a limited period only) and to all Miller Homes employees.

Hide AdPeople in the UK use an estimated 10 billion plastic bags a year - more than 150 per person, and this accounts for a fifth of all plastic packaging used in the UK.
The carrier bag charge was introduced in a bid to reduce the number of plastic bags going to landfill.
Within the first year of the policy being launched in Scotland, 147 million less carrier bags were handed out in shops and businesses.
In Wales the charge led to a 79% decrease in plastic bags taken in the first three years and in Scotland the number of ‘bags for life’ used quadrupled last year.
