Businesses come top of online ratings

Three hospitality businesses have been awarded Certificates of Excellence for online reviews of their service.

Carnforth’s Leighton Hall, The Fleece Inn at Dolphinholme and The Sun Hotel & Bar in Lancaster all announced this week that they have received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Now in its sixth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality and entertainment businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings in reviews from visitors on the TripAdvisor website over the past year.

Leighton Hall owner Suzie Reynolds said “We are delighted to receive this award.

“We’ve never had one like it before and it truly shows the power of people and social media.”

Gemma Ritchie, general manager at The Sun, said: “I’m thrilled because we’ve worked really hard to create somewhere unique and special in Lancaster.”

The Fleece Inn general manager Maurice Camm said: “It’s wonderful to have official recognition of the positive feedback we continually receive from guests.”
