A Lancaster business duo are celebrating after adding a new edge to their hairdressing salon.
Shane Ogley and Daryl Birkby, who run Prestige Salon, have just opened The Sanctuary on the first floor of their Church Street premises.
The pair - who joined forces after hair stylist Daryl cut businessman Shane’s hair back in 2011 - now offer a wider range of treatments as well as their existing salon services.
Shane said: “2015 is a very exciting time for us. Located on the first floor of the salon, The Sanctuary is a haven for massage and therapies, as well as beauty, nails and waxing. We are launching our new website in March this year and some of our new juniors are finishing their apprenticeships, so we’ll be able to offer a new appointment system and pricing structure at the weekends.”
Shane owns three businesses across the North West, and saw the chance to go into business with Daryl, who worked in and managed a large salon in Lancaster for many years, following the closure of the former Matthew Paul salon in Church Street.
Prestige caters for both men and women.
