A photography business set up in Lancaster seven years ago won a top accolade.
PhotoBaby, which has a studio in Green Lane, scooped the Small Business category at the 2013 Enterprise Vision Awards, known as the EVAs.
They were set up specifically to recognise the North West business sector’s leading ladies and reward those who inspire others by successfully running their own company or who are at the top of their profession.
Founder Eleanor Postlethwaite was presented with a trophy at an awards night at the Hilton in Blackpool. The qualified artist and photographer said: “I am delighted to have received such recognition for my work.
“I believe in capturing moments in time for people to hold onto to treasure for generations and it is a privilege to be part of that journey with my clients.”
Eleanor has steadily built up the company since setting it up in 2006, covering special occasions and baby and family portraits.
She described family as one of the most important things in life, adding that great photography captured the special moments of loved ones which become heirlooms lasting a lifetime.
The company also has a studio at Askam in Cumbria.
