One of Lancaster’s major business success stories is getting bigger and bigger.

Digital marketing experts Get Your Mobi, which started life four years ago with just two laptops and a phone, has just moved into new state-of-the-art offices at the city’s White Cross Business Park.

The brainchild of entrepreneurs Lee Brady and Adam Blakey, Get Your Mobi now employs 40 staff, has bases in both Lancaster and Blackpool, can boast more than 4,000 satisfied customers across the UK and has enjoyed 100 per cent growth in each of its first four years.

Get Your Mobi offers online solutions for businesses, no matter how big or small.

Its services include web design, making websites suitable for all mobile phone and tablet devices, specialist web hosting and digital marketing tools.

It was formed after Lee, a former Morecambe High School pupil, and Adam, from Blackpool, met while working for a telecoms company.

Lee said: “The main thing that makes us stand out from everyone is our customer service and range of quality products. We pride ourselves in a high customer retention ratio and this is because our products work for our customers. Our account managers are always there to help and have constant contact with our customers providing the statistics and information they need.”

Adam said: “We are two lads from Lancashire and this is where we want to continue to build a successful company. We opened Blackpool in January last year and we will be looking to replicate there what we have in Lancaster.

“We have big plans over the next few years. Our aim is to have 50 staff by the end of this year and go on from there.

“But keeping the business in Lancashire is very important to us. You have nothing like Get Your Mobi around Lancaster and Blackpool and we are proud to stand out.”

Get Your Mobi’s expansion, vision and dedication to Lancashire has received both Parliamentary and local government backing.

Cat Smith, MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood, who visited the company’s new Lancaster office, said: “Lancaster is a really creative city and Get Your Mobi is an example of how people have come together and really made a creative idea happen. They are creating jobs for local people, young people in particular.

“Keeping skilled young people here is vital for the future of the city. I’m delighted Get Your Mobi is committed to the local area and I wish them well for the future.”

Coun Caroline Jackson, deputy mayor of Lancaster, said: “It’s hugely important we have young businesses taking on local young people. We have a lot of young talent that comes through our schools and university and it need san incentive to stay here. Too many leave to go to Manchester and Liverpool and it’s our very own brain drain. We need these people to stay here and help create more opportunities for other young people, so what I have seen with Get Your Mobi is very impressive.”
