A Lancaster artist and illustrator has seen his profile rise after he was re-tweeted by former Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
Jack Knight contacted the entrepreneur on the social media site during ‘Small Business Sunday’ - a free promotion where the TV star invites small businesses to message him to describe their business in one tweet using the hashtag #SBS.
He then chooses his favourite six, reviews each winner and re-tweets them to his 385,000-plus followers.
The aim is to give each successful business a boost from the extra exposure and, potentially, new sales.
Jack, who runs Knight Time Creations - his own design business - has since gained 100 more followers on the site.
And he said there had been ‘a lot of interest’ in his services.
He has also been given a profile page on Mr Paphitis’ official website www.theopaphitissbs.com
Jack said: “I’m really pleased I’m now a member of the #sbs family.
“I want to get Knight Time Creations known and ideally get business booming and a re-tweet from Theo is really helping.”
To take part in the promotion, tweet @TheoPaphitis between 5pm and 7.30pm every Sunday.
Tweets must include the #SBS hashtag to be entered.
