Lancaster based student accommodation provider CityBlock has been formally recognised for providing high quality and well managed student accommodation.
The company has received accreditation to ANUK National Code of Standards for their student accommodation blocks across the country.
This Code is fully supported by the National Union of Students (NUS) and is designed to regulate landlords in achieving a set of standards for students.
Suzanne Parker, brand and marketing manager at CityBlock said: “Following a rigorous assessment of CityBlock’s standards in customer care and welfare, property management and maintenance, we have successfully gained recognition for achieving the high national standards set by ANUK which further enhances CityBlock’s credibility within the student accommodation sector”.
CityBlock has recently applied for planning permission to regenerate and develop a new building on the old Squires Snooker site in Lancaster, and last week announced that it had secured a £16.2m deal with RBS for future developments.
