Craven businesses are being urged to apply for up to £3,000 each to connect to superfast broadband.
Time is running out to benefit from the scheme as only around a quarter of the £40m national funding pot remains. All funding is likely to have been allocated by Christmas 2015.
Around 40 businesses in Craven have already benefited from the scheme.
John Varney, founder of High Trenhouse Management Centre, Malham Moor, Settle, said: “In our remote rural location, access to an excellent broadband service via wireless infrastructure enables us to keep in touch with national and international clients and allows them, while on site, to stay connected and share large documents with ease.”
More than 3,000 small and medium sized businesses, sole traders, social enterprises and charities in Craven have been invited to access the grant funding to pay for costs such as new routers and connection fees.
