Bus crashes into hedge in Abbeystead
A bus carrying no passengers has veered off the road into a hedge this morning.
Police received a call at 7.10am this morning (Thursday March 26) to attend to the scene of a bus on its side in between Caw House and Higher Caw House road.
North West Ambulance arrived at 7.26am to treat the male driver in his 40s who was suffering from shock.
The driver suffered no serious injuries but was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary as a precaution.
