AT just a year old, Errin Godwin Whalley became so severely allergic to food that she stopped eating altogether.

For three years the toddler was fed through a tube in her nose, and at one stage her hospital notes stated “failure to thrive”.

But she showed her fighting spirit – and her hard work and commitment have now paid off with Errin being picked to take part in a national ballet production.

Now 10, Errin, who attends the Laura Sandham School of Dance in Lancaster, has spent much of her young life in and out of hospital.
