Born Survivor is a 10k military obstacle course based at Lowther Castle, Penrith. There will be mud, sweat and tears all in aid of a good cause.

The Born Heroes team have been training at the University of Cumbria for the big day on Saturday April 9.

Daniel Donohue, general manager at Fitness Formation, said: “Once again the people of the local area have come out to support and raise money for St John’s Hospice by joining Fitness Formation’s Born Heroes.

“It’s an immense privilege to work so closely with such an inspirational local charity and on Saturday, we will once again tackle Born Survivor in order to raise much needed funds.

“Many people will be racing for those who have, in some way, had direct care and contact with the hospice and we can’t wait to get going around another great course for an even greater cause.”
