Body found on beach at Heysham
The body of a man in his fifties was found on the beach at Heysham.
Police were called to the beach near Knowlys Road just before 5am on August 15 following a report that a body had been found.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner.
The Coroner’s office said a post mortem was due to be performed and an inquest would be opened and adjourned in due course.
