Bikes and cash stolen in shopburglary

Bikes worth over £5000 were stolen in a raid on a cycle shop in Morecambe’s West End.

Police said that between 5.30pm on February 14 and 9.20am on February 16, burglars got into a communal area of flats adjacent to the shop and forced their way through a boarded up door.

They took bikes worth over £5000 and cash from the till.

The bikes taken include a 29” black bike with red stripes, a Cannondale V series bike, black with silver writing and pink luminous pedals with a Hayes front disc brake, a Carrera Banshee X bike in black with silver writing, a Trek Fuel 9 bike in silver with black writing, with scuffed back suspension arms, a Forme Axe Edge bike in red and black with no pedals, and a Moda Prima bike in red and white with no pedals.
