It will take place at the Sanctuary, Lancaster Library this Saturday (November 5) between 1pm and 3pm.

Tom is keen to meet other people with similar interests and find out what people might like from a club of people who love Japanese comics (Manga) and animations (Anime).

This could include Studio Ghibli film viewings, drawing classes, visits to Comic Cons, cosplay, book swapping or a reading club.

“I have been interested in Anime like Spice and Wolf, Cowboy Bebop and various films that were created by Studio Ghibli,” said Tom.

“Due to the fact that I meet so many people who are into the same things I thought to myself maybe, just maybe, there might be other people out there in Lancaster who are also into Anime and Manga. “This is an opportunity to design a club to match your interests at a location, day and time to suit you. “

Tom said he was grateful for the interest shown in the event by the Friends of Lancaster Library and local illustrator and comic-artist Harry Saxon.

The club will be open to anyone aged 12 to 120 years old and this first event is free of charge. For more details call 07962 188864.
