Apprentices awarded for their hard work

Lancaster Training Services Ltd held their 23rd annual awards evening at their training centre in Heysham, to mark the achievements of their learners in the automotive and transport industry.

Assistant training manager Lee Lawson presented the awards on the night.

Lee thanked staff, employers, learners, Lancaster & Morecambe College and their link schools for their efforts throughout the year.

Award winners were:

Best Overall 1st Year Trainee: Jordan Eccles

1st year runner up: Matthew Steer

Best Overall 2nd Year Trainee: Adam Gudgeon

2nd year runner up: James Johns

Most Improved Youth Trainee Over 2 Years: Kieran Goffin

Best Level 3 ‘Heavy’ Vehicle Trainee: Jonathan Higgens

3rd year ‘heavy’ runner up: Matthew Dring

Best Level 3 ‘Light’ Vehicle Trainee: Ayrton Harrison

3rd year ‘light’ runner up: Elliot Casson
