Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected hit and run in which a cyclist was seriously hurt.
The 47-year-old woman cyclist was involved in a collision with a car on Wednesday July 8 at around 4.20pm on Garstang Road.
Police believe the car involved may have failed to stop after the incident.
The cyclist was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with injuries to her head and upper body.
PC Mark Howson from the Lancaster Road Policing Unit said: “I am urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information about the driver to get in contact with us so we can determine exactly how the collision came to occur.”
