Appeal after purse theft in Carnforth

An old lady had her purse stolen whilst shopping in Aldi in Carnforth.

Police said a man captured on CCTV may have information in connection with the theft.

The man, described as white, large build and bald, wearing a blue coloured shirt and with two children, was captured on camera leaving the store at 12.40pm on July 23.

PC Faye Tinker, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, said: “We would appeal to the public, and anyone who can identify the suspect in the CCTV image to get in touch with us to help us and provide any information in regards to this investigation.”
