CRIME hotspots in Lancaster and Morecambe have been revealed for the first time on a new government website.
More than 500 crimes were recorded in Lancaster in December according to figures from www.police.uk, which allows members of the public to view crime maps and statistics in their local area.
Church Street, in Lancaster city centre, had the highest number of incidents, with 31 crimes recorded within the month.
The residential streets in Lancaster with the highest number of crimes were Ryelands Road and Dee Road in Ryelands, Pinfold Lane in Skerton, and Chelsea Mews off Owen Road, which had eight recorded incidents each.
