Children’s TV icon Sid Sloane is coming to town this Saturday (September 13).

The CBeebies star will be live on stage at the Grand Theatre from 2.30pm for ‘Sid’s Show II’ – perfect for families with children aged three and up.

Sid is  setting out on a heroic quest to find out where in the world his favourite socks and shoes have got to.

Families can share in the adventure at the bottom  of the sea, deep in the jungle or floating in outer space, and meet some funny characters along the way. 

This isan interactive experience crammed with games, songs, poems and magic.

The show lasts 55 minutes.Tickets cost £12, £10 concessions, £38 for a family ticket.

nAlso on at the Grand this weekend is The Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular Show on Sunday night (September 14) at 7pm.

Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin were three of the coolest men in the history of popular music.

Together as The Rat Pack they became famous for good living, great singing and spectacular performances on stage.

Show founder and producer Wayne Kennedy will play Dean Martin, Roman Marek will be old Blue eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, while Sammy Davis is played on most of the tour dates by James Jnr, although ex-footballer turned stage performer Jim Whitley and Patrick Kumar are also becoming Sammy on certain dates.

Expect classics such as Come Fly With Me, Under My Skin, Mr Bojangles, Lady Is A Tramp, That’s Amore, Mack The Knife plus many more of your favourites.
