A man from Morecambe will be transforming his garden into a ghoulish grotto for Halloween to raise money for CancerCare.

Chris Dickson’s Beetlejuice-themed display takes place on October 30 and 31, from 5.30pm each evening.

The creation has been a feature on South Road for the last seven years and gets bigger each Halloween.

Chris used the charity’s services when he was diagnosed with cancer several years ago.

The display is at 80 South Road, Morecambe, LA4 6JR.

This year will also feature BB'S Snack Bar, who will be providing food on Halloween night only and donating their profits to CancerCare.

In addition Chris added a big thank you to Ady Dickson from Safe scaffolding for work to stage some of the display.

"This year the display is bigger and better that last year's, with new animated scary props!" he said. "Bring your children, you won't be disappointed!"
