On Wednesday November 11, and for one night only, innovative young company Kill the Beast will be performing the werewolf-themed ‘He Had Hairy Hands’ at Lancaster Arts.

Billed as a werewolf detective comedy, inspired by 70s horror films and buddy cop movies, the show’s humour is best described as a mixture of Monty Python, The League of Gentlemen and Scooby Doo.

Using exciting visuals, costumes and immersive projections, the company creates an entirely unique (and weird) world – making it a must-see for anyone remotely interested in visual design, scenography or spectacle theatre.

Four performers take on more than 30 roles, with lightning quick costume changes, scene swaps and pin-point characterisation.

It is a truly exciting monster romp packed with slapstick, pace and wit and was selected as a ‘top act’ by the BBC, at the Fringe Festival in 2014.

The show at the Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster Arts, starts at 8pm on November 11.

Tickets are £13 for adults and £9 for students available from www.lancasterarts.org or by calling 01524 594151.
