Julian Clary will reflect on career at Grand
It’s been thirty years since Julian Clary, national trinket, author and TV star jumped into our lives.
Now the camp comedian is celebrating his success in a Spring tour which will take him across the country.
The Joy of Mincing is Julian Clary’s celebration of 30 years as a camp comedian and he has a lot to tell; the ups and downs of his sordid love life, the true and heart stopping account of how he saved Dame Joan Collins’ life, and don’t start him on the perils of his DIY electrical home enema kit.
On stage Julian will proudly wear his well-deserved M.B.E. (Mincer of the British Empire). It was the last thing he expected to receive when he knelt down in front of Prince Charles in the scullery at Buckingham Palace.
The popular comedian won Celebrity Big Brother in 2012 and has also become a Sunday Times best-selling novelist
And because Julian gives and gives (until it hurts) he will be handing out honours to a lucky few in the audience too at the Lancaster Grand Theatre.
Remaining one of the country’s best loved entertainers, Julian’s popularity has endured across a threedecade career in show business.
The show on May 12 is for over 16s only and tickets for adults are priced at £23 and £20 for concessions. They are available from the box office on 01524 64695 or by visiting http://www.lancastergrand.co.uk/shows.
