Drever and Coyne play the Platform

Fans of folk music are in for a treat this autumn when Kris Drever and Eamonn Coyne perform at the Platform in Morecambe.

Drever is part of the acclaimed group Lau, and recently appeared on Later…with Jools Holland, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, BBC Folk Awards and at London’s mini‐festival Welcome To Lau‐Land.

Éamonn Coyne has performed with the Treacherous Orchestra whose album Origins’ came out last year, and with Salsa Celtica.

Recorded in Scotland in Autumn 2012, ‘Storymap’ is Coyne and Drever’s brand new duo recording of traditional folk and song.

Coyne dazzles on both the banjo and tenor guitar while highly rated, award‐winning vocalist Drever arranges the traditional songs, sings and plays the guitar and mandolin.

The evening with Kris Crever and Eamonn Coyne is taking place at the Platform in Morecambe on Thursday, September 11 at 8pm.
