Latest recommended reads from library users across the county are:

*‘The Blinding Knife’ by Brent Weeks

*‘Invisible Wall’ by Harry Bernstein

*‘Coming Home’ by Roy Stolworthy

*‘A Spectacle of Dust’ by Pete Postlethwaite

*‘In the Darkness’ by Karin Fossum

The books have been recommended as part of the Pass It On scheme which encourages library members to let each other know about something memorable they’ve read, watched or listened to.

County Councillor Julie Gibson, lead member for Libraries and Cultural Services at Lancashire County Council, said: “We’ve discovered from customers who meet in libraries all over the county that people like to share good books, films and music.”

“Pass It On encourages library members to share their enthusiasm and passion by posting
a review or recommendation online and share it with other users via the county council’s website. “

The reviews are available on the county council’s library catalogue so online browsers looking for inspiration can easily click on to the latest recommendations from other library users.
