Hagan will bring “Some People Have Too Many Legs” to the library this Friday at 7.30pm.

It is a theatrical, poetic comedy show about making the bad stuff in life work to your advantage.

Jackie Hagan spent the summer of 2013 in hospital and says it was a boot-camp in coping and seeing the humour in the dark places.

She lost a leg, fell in love and made best friends with a ‘narky’ old woman called Edna.

Infectiously optimistic, a bit daft, a bit real, featuring special effects and a unicorn, Some People Have Too Many Legs is a show about facing your fears and throwing glitter at them.

The show has been programmed by Spot On Lancashire as part of its new scheme taking professional shows into Lancashire’s libraries.

Speaking ahead of Hagan’s show, Spot On scheme manager Sue Robinson, said: “Jackie is a fantastic performer and we know that the comedy in the show will be a big pull for the public.”

Tickets can be bought
directly from staff at Heysham Library and are priced at £6 for adults and £4 concessions.
