An annual fair which has been raising money for charity for more than half a century will return to Warton tomorrow (November 2).
The Warton Annual Fair will be held in the Church Hall, Warton from 2pm and will include a host of stalls and activities for all the family to enjoy.
Residents from the village will help to run a teddy tombola and stalls will include cakes, crafts, books, gifts and an adult tombola.
Members of North West Cancer Research’s Warton Committee, who are organising the event, are calling out to local residents and businesses to donate prizes for the tombola, grand raffle, any unwanted gifts and cakes for the cake stall.
All proceeds from the event will be given to NWCR, a regional charity dedicated to finding a better understanding of cancer, with more than 30 committees raising money throughout the North West.
Entry to the event will cost just £1 and there will be tea and homemade cakes available. The grand raffle will be drawn at 3.30pm.
