Fairport’s concert will not only include brand new songs from the eagerly awaited new studio album Festival Bell but will also feature a performance of Babbacombe Lee, the band’s classic 1971 folk-rock ‘concept album’.

Released to coincide with the tour, Festival Bell is the first new Fairport Convention album for four years. The Platform concert will feature a selection from the album’s fourteen tracks (which include compositions by members of the band, two songs by the legendary Ralph McTell and a reworking of the Sandy Denny classic ‘Rising For The Moon’).
