Penwortham policeman Sgt Malcolm Watson's long arm of the law has embraced a scout group for six years - and now they have rewarded him with a special 'medal'. Three girls organised their own Christmas card postal service at St Albans High School, Chorley to help raise cash for the local mayor's charity, Children in Need... and it got the civic stamp of approval at a reception in Chorley town hall.
