Saudi Arabians were getting a taste of Lancashire life as part of a special fact-finding tour of the county. Ten travel trade delegates from Saudi Arabia arrived for a two-day education visit. 8. Fylde Coast in 1991
Clifton pupils helped raise £2,000 to help stop the hunting of whales. They took part in a Fylde Greenpeace Support Group sponsored walk from Lytham Windmill, with around 400 people in total taking part. The 4.5 mile round trip to Fairhaven Lake started at 10am, followed by a vegetarian lunch on Lytham Green.
