Tyson Fury thanks Morecambe bin men for working during lockdown

Morecambe's boxing world champion Tyson Fury has thanked his local bin men for the work they have been doing while the country is in lockdown.

The Gypsy King, who lives in Hest Bank with his family, spoke out in a video on his Instagram account to thank bin men from Lancaster City Council for their continued efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.

He tagged in the council's official Instagram account, and the video has now also been shared on the city council's Facebook page.

He told his 3.7m followers: "I'd just like to give a big shout out to the unsung heroes - the local bin men of everybody's area.

Since the lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on March 23, Fury and his wife Paris have aired daily fitness classes on his Instagram account, which are being viewed by thousands of people every day.
