Building work postponed at Morecambe hospital due to coronavirus pandemic
Building work to replace X-ray facilities at Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) in Morecambe has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The work would have involved taking two existing X-ray machines out of use so University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT) has decided to postpone the work and resume it when possible. Patients at UHMBT will not be affected by the postponement of the building work.
The Trust will reassess the situation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic over the coming months and updates will be given in due course.
