Staff and pupils from Lancaster primary school join forces to make video during coronavirus lockdown

Staff and youngsters from Skerton St Luke's Primary School have made a video to help keep their spirits up during the Covid-19 crisis.

Administrator and ICT technician Sam Trowse organised the video, so that all the children and staff were able to see each other during the isolation period.

Almost half of the children in the school have taken part in the video, which is almost 20 minutes long and also features the pupils singing.

It shows those taking part "passing" a pen around their homes and holding up thank you messages for the NHS and key workers, and reminding people to stay safe.

The video has had more than 2,300 views on Facebook.
