Creative writing student Joe Bedford, along with actors Lewis Pugh and Cat Thomas have released SNAP, a film about a couple of furloughed colleagues separated by the lockdown after a one-night stand.

Music for the film has been provided by Art Penley.

Joe, who wrote the script and remotely directed the film, said: "I'm especially proud of the actors, particularly literature student Cat Thomas who managed to do all her filming and prep work from the empty campus where she's locked down.

"She's living alone, hundreds of miles from her family, and still balancing her degree with totally immersing herself in this film - I've found her so inspiring.

"Both of the actors have been a great example of young people getting creative during lockdown and we'd love to encourage other young people with similar ideas."

The 18-minute film can be seen on YouTube here, and has also gained interest via BBC Radio Suffolk, where Joe, who lives in Felixstowe, will be discussing the film with DJ Jon Wright on Wednesday June 24 at 7.30pm.
