Young Lancaster Boxers Become North West Region Champions
Competing from the All Champs Gym, Will Johnson and Josh Sharp have represented Lancaster Boxing Team with distinction, securing their place on the national circuit where they’ll face elite competitors from across the country in their pursuit of the national title.
Josh Sharp, a North West regional champion, Box Cup winner and former national schoolboy champion in the under-57kg weight class, remains unbeaten since joining the Lancaster Boxing Team.

Hide AdWill Johnson, who also holds a Manchester Box Cup title, has shown remarkable determination and skill, having lost only once in his last seven bouts. As he gains momentum, Johnson is quickly establishing himself as a talented and hardworking athlete with a promising future.


They’ll be taking to the ring again on Sunday, November 3rd, to continue their journey in the NAGBC national championships.
Head Coach Samuel Wisniewski shared his pride in the team’s recent achievements, stating, “I couldn’t be prouder of how the lads have progressed. They’re hardworking, disciplined, and talented athletes who represent our team impeccably, both in and out of the ring. This is a massive accomplishment, and I believe they have many more to come.”
Lancaster Boxing, an England Boxing affiliate, holds regular team trials at the popular All Champs Gym in Lancaster, fostering local talent and growing the sport in the community. The club has also announced an upcoming home show boxing event in partnership with Lancaster University, scheduled for December 7, 2024.
