New pet shop gets ready to open in market town near Lancaster
Signage is being installed on The Pets Pantry at 36 Main Street this week, and the owners have confirmed they are close to opening.
They said on their new Facebook page: “Exciting times ahead … work starts on Monday [September 23] to get the shop ready for opening in mid October.

Interested pet owners have already been asking the new shop for their favourite goods, and they have so far confirmed they will stock raw dog food in a double freezer, including Burns, Nature’s Menu, Cotswolds and Nutriment.
They will also cater for cats and small pets, and have said they will look into the possibility of buggy hire for older/infirm dogs visiting the area with their owners on holiday.
The business is based in the former Tata’s Cafe, which closed earlier this year.
